About the Startup Ecosystem Assessment
The Startup Ecosystem Assessment is the implementation follow-up to the 2025 study that defined a measurement tool for technology-based startup ecosystems at the city/regency level.
Every region has a different character and development focus, so this instrument helps identify the strengths, challenges, and development orientation of each region, while mapping the typology of technology-based startup ecosystem clusters in a targeted way.

Building a technology-based startup ecosystem requires the involvement of many parties so that the resulting picture is comprehensive and matches actual conditions on the ground.
Who orchestrates or initiates this measurement? The orchestrator or initiator is the local government of the selected city/regency responsible for technology-based startup development.

Bappeda and regional agencies responsible for the creative economy, technology, digitalisation, and innovation as policy directors.
